WHAT ARE YOUR OFFICE HOURS?

Our leasing agents are available Monday through Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday, 9 am to 4 pm and Saturday by appointment only. We are closed on Sundays.

WHERE ARE YOUR HOMES LOCATED?

New rental homes come onto our listings daily, so be sure to book mark us and check back regularly. Our homes are located throughout the Tampa Bay metro area. Take a look at our Properties for Rent section to find the best option for you.

DO I HAVE TO PAY TO USE YOUR RENTING SERVICES?

We don’t charge to help you find a home. But if you decide to enter into a lease agreement for any of our properties, there is a $50 application processing fee.

DO YOU ALLOW PETS IN YOUR HOMES?

Many homes do allow pets. However, the pet policy varies from property to property, depending upon the owner’s terms. At Properties for Rent, you will find the pet policy for each case.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR A LEASE?

We use a five-step qualifying process. This includes a credit check, employment verification, current and previous residency verification, public record search and criminal background check.

MY CREDIT IS LESS THAN PERFECT. WILL I STILL QUALIFY FOR THE LEASE PROGRAM?

We will most likely have a program to fit your situation, regardless of your credit history. Since we do not use a conventional qualifying process, we look at many factors besides just your credit score. Unlike many financial institutions, we are mainly concerned with your ability to fulfill your monthly payment obligation.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE A MINIMUM CREDIT SCORE?

Although we will review your credit report, we look at your total financial situation and consider your ability to make your monthly payments. We work with individuals with all types of credit backgrounds, so regardless of your situation we will more than likely have a program for you.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS?

We like to keep things fast and simple so we offer a streamlined application process. Once you locate the property you want in our website, click on “apply now” to start your application process.

WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?

After the application process is completed, the lease agreement signed, and required payments collected, you are free to move in to your new home. Since you are not applying for a conventional mortgage, there is no long escrow or approval period to wait for. You could be in your new home the same day your application process is completed.

Absolutely! We have numerous leasing specialists on staff to take you through the process step by step, answering all your questions and directing you to the rental home that would best suit your situation.

HOW LONG DOES THE LEASE AGREEMENT LAST?

For a straight lease, the term is typically one year.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO MOVE INTO A RENTAL HOME?

The security deposit amounts vary from house to house, typically one month’s rent plus security deposits. If you enter into a lease option purchase arrangement, the lease option amount will be applied to the new purchase contract.

HOW CAN I SEE THE HOMES I'M INTERESTED IN?

Each listing includes a street address so you can drive by and see the outside of the home and get a feel for the general neighborhood. To view the inside of a property you will need to call one of our leasing agents and make arrangements. Make a list of the homes that match your selection criteria and call our office. A leasing specialist will take it from there.

CAN I MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE HOME?

Any improvements will require permission of the owner.

I FOUND A HOME I LIKE, BUT I'M NOT ABLE TO MOVE IN FOR A MONTH?

The only way to secure the home you choose is to complete the leasing application process and put your hold money down. The home will be taken off the market, and we will then begin the lease process. But since we typically have many houses available, it is highly likely that you will find another suitable home when you’re ready to move in. We update our rental home listings daily, so check our website regularly.

CAN I PAY RENT ONLINE?

Yes. Sign onto the Renter’s Portal or the link on the top of the page to make a payment.

HOW DO I REPORT A MAINTENANCE REQUEST?

Sign onto the website “Maintenance Request”  and Click on the appropriate maintenance request.
